It is that time of year when head lice seem to showing up. We have had a case in the middle school. Please take the time to check your students weekly for lice/knits. CTC summer camp for students entering 7th-9th grade: On June 13th the CTC is offering a one day summer camp. Transportation is provided from our school. If you are interested check it out online or call the CTC. Classes are filling up fast.

5th and 7th Grade Parents: On Monday, April 23rd the Health Department will be in the Middle School. They will be doing vision testing on all our 5th and 7th graders.
8th Grade Parents: The final Chicago payment is due on Friday, April 13th. Students total is $190.00 and adults is $200.00.
Reading and Math Summer Program: Students in grades K-8 can stay on top of language arts and math skills over the summer with the popular "GRASP" Reading and Math Program offered by Northwest Michigan College. Today in the 7th and 8th grade we had the opportunity to have Detective Piskor from the Wexford County Sheriff’s Department come in to talk about school safety. He spoke about what to do if someone hears of a threat towards the school even if they feel it is not serious. He also spoke about not making jokes about school safety in person or on social media. I would like to encourage you to take this opportunity to talk with your student about these topics and if you have any questions, please contact the office. Thank you for partnering with us in making sure Manton Consolidated Schools is a safe place to learn.
