Important dates to remember:

  1. January 15: 3rd grade VIP day
  2. January 22: 3rd & 4th Grade Fun Night (more info coming soon!)

News for You: 

  • Doors open at 8:20 and dismissal is at 3:10
  • 3rd grade VIP Day: January 15, 7:50 am-8:20 am in the Multi-Purpose Room.
  • WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) begins later this month. Contact Mr. Katona if you want to volunteer for a day, or if you need more information about the program.
  • 3rd & 4th Grade Fun Night will be on Wednesday, January 22nd, from 3:15-4:30. The activities will take place in the MPR, 5th St. Gym, and the 5th St. Gym Lobby. More information will be coming soon!
  • Please remember to send tennis shoes with your student on gym day and also an alternate pair of shoes other than winter boots for every day.
  • Please be sure your children are sent with appropriate clothing for the weather.
  • Free and Reduced Lunch: Just a reminder if you have not applied for this and would like to, you may do so at or stop in the Elementary office for a form.
  • Parents, please continue to move forward in the drop off lane. This helps the flow of traffic. Thanks!
  • Head Lice: Parents are highly encouraged to check their children for head lice and nits every night. If you find that your child has head lice, please DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL. Your child will need to be treated for head lice, and the nits must be combed out. PLEASE REMIND YOUR CHILDREN NOT TO SHARE BRUSHES, HAIR TIES, HEADBANDS, HATS OR COATS!!!
  • Lost and Found: Please write your child's name on their belongings to better claim all lost and found items. Lost and Found is over flowing! Come check it out!
  • "Tis the season...IF school is canceled due to the weather, please note the following: Our Transportation Department will send out a phone call. Check the local TV station and Cadillac Evening News. You may also download the Manton School app on the app store and will receive a notification this way.
