Yesterday we celebrated Constitution Day. In kindergarten we discussed how the constitution is the laws of the land. Then each kindergarten student cut out their handprint to create this awesome looking American Flag!

Today the 3rd grade went to visit the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. We were able to meet up with a park ranger and do a scavenger hunt in the museum at the vistor center. After learning a little about the park the kids were able to get out and explore this amazing Michigan landform first hand!

ACES - All Children Exercise Simultaneously is Friday, May 4 at 2:00 on the practice field north of the high school. Parents are welcome to join us. Parents, please meet us at the practice field and you can sign your child out with classroom teacher afterwards. This years theme is Star Wars or Super Hero.

The second graders had a special visit from Mayor Brown! The students enjoyed learning more about our community and our city government. The second graders even participated in a mock town council meeting. We appreciate Mayor Brown taking time out of his day to visit our school!
