Manton High School

Graduates should be at the athletic complex ready for the class picture at 2:15pm today. Please do not be late! Graduation begins at 3. There will be a professional photographer documenting the ceremony. Each graduate will receive 2 formal photos and the link will be provided for families to purchase more photos.

Senior walk tomorrow at 1pm. Seniors will walk the halls from the elementary, through the middle school and end at the high school parking lot. Please wear caps and gowns. Mandatory rehearsal at the athletic complex immediately following. Class Night is at 6:30pm at the Athletic Complex. Please dress nicely, but for the weather. (No graduation gowns)All are welcome at Class Night. (Parents, grandparents etc), but it is not mandatory for students to attend.

Seniors! We are opening your time capsule and watching your slide show at approximately 10:45 on Wednesday. Your burger lunch will follow! AM CTC are encouraged to attend as well!

Reminder! High school students have exams May 31, June 1, June 2! Exams are calculated at 20% of the semester 2 grade.

Seniors! Chromebook turn in tomorrow! $50 if you plan to purchase yours! Due at turn in! $25 if you lost your charger, also due at turn in! Even if you are purchasing, you will need to turn it in tomorrow in order for it to be unlocked for your personal use!

All 9th grade students were given a permission slip to attend Career Day in Traverse City on Thursday. Very few students have turned these in. We would like all students to go. Please send permission slips in ASAP.

If you are planning to attend the Trashion Show tomorrow at 12:45, please enter through the main HS gym doors (near the middle school entrance) and proceed upstairs to the track/upper bleachers. Due to the amount of students attending, there will not be community seating downstairs. Thank you! There will also be a donation jar for the Art Club!

Permission slips and money can still be turned in tomorrow morning for the Ranger Reward trip to Lucky Jacks. All students who are eligible to attend, must have their permission slip and money.

Tuesday 1/10 is NWEA testing. All high school students will test. Dual enrollment students will attend all day, as well as CTC students. No students will attend CTC on Tuesday. Virtual students do not need to come in to test at this time. Please bring Chromebooks and have them charged.

Reminder that parent/teacher conferences are Monday 11/21 (5pm-8pm), Tuesday 11/22 (5pm-8pm), and Wednesday, which is a half day of school, (1pm-3pm). Drop ins are welcomed and encouraged! No school for Thanksgiving November 24 & 25.

Varsity Volleyball Districts at McBain Wednesday at 5:30 vs. McBain! Tickets online only at gofan.co (search for Manton) There are still seats available on the spec bus for students. Admission is paid if a student rides the spec bus! Bus leaves at 4:30! Go Rangers!

Seniors! Jostens was here today to hand out graduation packets! If you weren’t here this morning, packets are located in the office! Jostens will be here again Thursday, 10/20, during lunch to take orders in person if you choose not to order online. ALL seniors will need to order a cap/gown package.

Chromebooks must be turned in during the 3rd hour exam, 5th hour for am CTC. Chargers must be turned in or $25 for replacement. Hotspots must also be turned in. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
