This is a reminder that Election Day is tomorrow, August 4th. The Manton Consolidated School's operating millage renewal will be on the ballot. This is a renewal of the current operating millage and is not a tax increase. This is to ensure that non-homestead properties are taxed at the 18 mills.

April 8th - SAT with Essay (Juniors), PSAT 9 (Freshman), PSAT 10 (Sophomores), Seniors (not in the building)-make-up work, online classes(those who have them), college visits, job shadowing, CTC etc. April 9-WIN Work Readiness(Juniors) All others- regular day April 14 - M-STEP Am & PM Sessions (Juniors) All others- regular day **One of the best things you can do for yourself to prepare at this point is to get a good night's sleep.**

Our plan is to have school open tomorrow for students. We are fortunate enough to have power at school, when many other schools do not. Our buses will run at their normal times, but some roads are still impassable with trees or low lines. We will pick up as many of our scheduled bus students as possible, but the buses may not be able to go down all of our roads. We have the opportunity to have a warm place to learn for students who have been without power for several days. We appreciate all of the hard work and countless hours our power line workers and first responders are putting in to get our lives back to normal. Hopefully we can have some normalcy tomorrow for our students and staff.

Ski Club Parents- After looking at the weather, we are still going to Caberfae today; however, due to the wind chill, we will be advising students to go inside for 10 minute breaks every 30 minutes to reduce their chances of frostbite. There is no way for Mrs. Thompson to monitor if students are taking breaks. If you are worried about your child's safety, please call the middle school immediately to let them know you would like your child not go to Caberfae today. Thank you!
