With the change in the weather forecast, the Wexford County Emergency Manager is not recommending an early release of school at this time. Although the risk of a severe storm is still possible, the chances are much less. As such, we will have a full day of school today. We appreciate you having alternative plans in place if the outcome would have been different!

Our Wexford County Emergency Manager has advised us to be prepared for a possible recommendation to close school early tomorrow due to the severe weather anticipated tomorrow afternoon.   We will continue to monitor the weather and he will update us in the morning on the situation.  In planning for this possibility, please make alternative arrangements for a possible early closure tomorrow in the event this happens.  We plan to start school as we normally do.  We will keep you informed of any additional information tomorrow morning. 

Due to a driver shortage, our yellow giraffe bus route will be running approximately one hour behind tomorrow morning and tomorrow afternoon, Friday, March 24. The morning route will be picking students up approximately one hour later than normal. After school, the yellow riders will be supervised until another bus completes its route and returns to pick them up to take them home. If you would like to pick your child up rather than have them wait, please call the office of the building your child is in to let them know. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

Due to having to make up one snow day, we will now have school on April 7th for 1/2 a day. If we have an additional snow day before April 7th, we will not use the 7th as a snow day and will begin to add days onto the end of the school year. Due to a driver shortage, our green bus route will be running approximately 1 hour late tomorrow morning, Thursday, March 2nd. If your child is normally picked up at 7:30 AM, they will be picked up at approximately 8:30 AM. We do apologize for the inconvenience this causes.

Due to the road conditions, Manton Consolidated Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 28. Band Festival for middle and high school will be rescheduled.

Due to the weather, Manton Latchkey will be closing at 4:00 PM today. If your child attends Latchkey, please make arrangements to have them picked up by 4:00 PM.

Due to the winter storm and road conditions, Manton Consolidated Schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, February 23rd.

We are having our regularly scheduled conferences this afternoon. If you are unable to attend your scheduled conference in person, please call your building's office, so that your teacher can call you during your allotted time.

Due to roads conditions, Manton Consolidated Schools will be closed today, Friday, February 17. Information regarding parent/teacher conferences will be sent out later this morning.

Good morning, our dirt roads are unsafe and impassible for our buses today. So due to the icy roads, we will need to close school today, Wednesday, February 15, Please Stay safe.
